???? 1. We welcome Laura back to our team! After a 1 year hiatus to await the technical development of Lightwave, Laura returns to help with project management, public relations and finances.

???? 2. Each of us has chosen his or her task from the list of tasks for the Koopernikus Platform & Lightwave in general. Isa, Laura and Johannes went through the selected tasks in order to get a feeling of what kind of processes we are facing.

???? 3. Have sent an application to the Prototype Fund from the Mercator Foundation. To promote the development of the tools of the participatory budget based on a blockchain and to integrate it in the marketplace (B2C) over the long term.

???? 4. Johannes exchanged ideas with Patricia Matzdorf from WWF / One Planet Hub. Patricia has offered as soon as we start test runs with the B2C marketplace and the participatory budget, she supports us as a communication multiplier in the WWF / One Planet Hub network.

Update #89

4 May 2021

???? 1. Raphi and Johannes visited Beat and Mara from PicoBio in Dietikon to get to know them better. Beat gave us a tour of his impressive warehouse. Afterwards we had lunch with him and his daughter Mara with a long exchange about Koopernikus, digitization, communities, certification of food & the food market in general.

???? 2. With Beat we worked out that an interface between PicoBio’s ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and the Koopernikus database makes sense to simplify data transfer.

???? 3. Members of Koopernikus use different merchandise management systems/ERPs. This means that in parallel to building the basic platform, we will need time and energy to program the interfaces to their respective merchandise management systems/ERPs (If it exists) for a successful data transfer.

???? 4. We have created a list of components that are needed to successfully launch Koopernikus to assess how much time and money we will need

Update #88

30 April 2021

???? 1. Here is an overview of the members of Koopernikus

???? 2. Our goal is to materialize something from Koopernikus as soon as possible. We take over elements from the Lightwave marketplace and Zollfrei Webshop and transfer them to Koopernikus and Gut Rheinau Webshop. We have set up a ticket system on Trello.

???? 3. Johannes is adding organic certifications & a product description to the Zollfrei products

???? 4. Johannes exchanged ideas with David from Gut Rheinau about the digital infrastructure and possible business models of Koopernikus. David sends the whole product list in order to have all the data together once.

????5. In order to plan sustainably financially, we will send Koopernikus a cost & time estimate for the construction of the basic platform and with extensions of modules (Invoice, Accounting etc.)

Update #87

27 April 2021

???? 1. Big news! We officially founded with representatives from the entire food value chain the Cooperative Koopernikus with Gut Rheinau, BachserMärt, PicoBio, Samses, Rampe21, Ernährungsforum Zürich, Chornlade! We feel mega hyped & happy to work together within a larger team. It feels like a movement with meaning

???? 2. At Koopernikus we are responsible for IT. Our plan is to get to know all personally, to code individual appearances and to create the Koopernikus IT platform from the intersection of needs

???? 3. The Koopernikus finance group discussed how to finance the development of the IT platform. One idea is to finance our team by receiving CHF 4000/month and CHF 4000 in form of food that we can resell within our community

???? 4. Thanks to the input of Pospi & our long-term goal to switch to Holochain, we decided to switch from REST to GraphQL and to code & test a product service

???? 5. Johannes added all producer data (name, website, address)of Zollfrei products into exel list

Update #86

20 April 2021

1. ???? On Sunday Raphi and Johannes met with Fred von Chornlade. We were able to get to know Fred and the new location of their climate friendly grocery store in Zollhaus better. As soon as the move is finished, Fred are interested in working together on the digital appearance of their products on their own webshop, Koopernikus and Zurich marketplace.

2. ???? Isa continued to work on the backend and the construction of the database with the elements of the seller, producer and product. As well developed a converter which allows the transfer of the Excel list with all the product/producer data to be easily fed into the database.

3. ???? Tibor integrated a list view of products into the web shop with the possibility to switch between grid view of prodcut pictures or list view. This responds better to the needs of our customers.

???? 4. Johannes is still in the process of adding all additional data for the Zollfrei products (producer, website, address). It is at product 170/900.

Update #85

16 April 2021

???? 1. Raphi and Johannes met David yesterday at his farm Gut Rheinau. We were on the same ‚lightwave‘ from the start, invited us to his family’s home, cooked and ate food together directly from the farm. While we were discussing about Koopernicus, activism, creating meaning and cooperation through the digital world.

???? 2. We got on so well that we will work together directly. He shared his data on his products with us and gave us access to 10 other producers who sell food through Gut Rheinau. We are welcome to come again and take pictures of the products for the whole network.

????3. Raphi, Tibor, Isa and Johannes discussed David’s needs. We will then add the other elements to the mock-up design and copy the webshop MVP from Zollfrei for Gut Rheinau and simply change the logo.

???? 4. Johannes provided David’s data clearly by sorting the products by food category and producer. As well as additional data from the producers and products for Zollfrei database.

Update #84

14 April 2021

1. ???????? Surprisingly, Christof gave Johannes the very first money for the Lightwave project worth CHF 2,000. This is a recognition of our work, vision and our values. We are happy about it and motivated to continue making a contribution to humanity and mother earth.

2. ???? On Monday and Tuesday, Johannes was in Zollfrei. He manually recorded all 850 products from the store in the Excel list with data of name, price and origin, if available.

3. ???? Today the data from food producers & traders were added. This gives us a better overview of how we can best network other organizations on the marketplace.

4. ???? We decided which technology we use to build the database and back-end: Springboot, PostgreSQL & REST.

Update #83

10 April 2021

???? 1. Johannes met Christof at Zollfrei to provide orientation about their data stocks. The list currently consists of 140 product entries. There are around 400 products in the store and all have been marked which still need to be added to the list. Johannes will do that next time into the Excel List and Raphi will take product pictures.

???? 2. Tibor programmed the new design of the product page.

????3. We updated the landing page of our website. Now we are working on the different pages.

???? 4. Fabi and Johannes had a good conversation about how we can network the various initiatives (Koopernikus, Urban Equipe, Stadtentwicklung Zürich, Seeds) and create a working group around the DAO Marketplace

???? 5. After talking to Christof that he would be interested to participate financially on the city DAO Marketplace we realized how important the question is, what the legal framework is and how a technical implementation with SEEDS could look like
